The ill- conceived policies have accentuated poverty

Globalisation, an inescapable process emanating from the interaction of myriad technologies and market forces, is proving to be a bitter pill for Cameroon. After 17 years of global integration, it has failed to accelerate growth rate. More than 50% live in abject poverty and about 65% live in rural areas, dependent on agriculture.
