Perhaps the memories of the incredibly incorrect polling results during the last round of General Elections have killed their hunger. While TV anchors were confidently citing figures about the success of BJP’s ‘India Shining’ campaign and their inevitable win, the Congress and its allies were quietly finishing them off in critical states. Most of the media was unanimous in its findings and didn’t see the woods from the trees until it was too late.
